Introducing the Dead Suns
Alex, Purveyor of Oddities and Curiosities
Alex is a lover of the finer things in life; mead, lances, uncommon musical indulgences, the Cream of the Crop Macho Man Randy Savage, and shaping steel into beautiful blades in his home forge with a cigar nestled betwixt his rough hand. He finds enjoyment in his consistent misunderstanding of the rules and rebels against his Game Masters with philosophically profound questions like, “Why not?”. You can count on Alex to woo that which needs wooing and to adhere to the creed of his party. You may hear him sighing a resigned “sure” when the enemy critically strikes him yet again or loudly attempting to reclaim his birthright – the land stolen by his uncle upon his fathers death. His legs do the talking and his beard does the walking, tune in to learn more!

Brad, Known Lover of the Rotfather
Brad is a Co-Founding Member of the Dead Suns Company. His loves include sports, good whisky, Warhammer, and bringing games to life as a Game Master. Weaving his game worlds around his seasoned parties, he will meticulously deploy what his players have come to call “GM Fuckery”. Make sure you roll well, because even the most knowledgable tabletop veterans will find themselves wondering and second-guessing. However, his greatest excitement comes when the players at his table find unique ways to beat the challenges thrown at them against all odds…though he really hopes they’re done finding ways to solve puzzles with synchronized peeing. Tune into his Warhammer 40K campaign: The Tainted Hive to find out if they are!
Erik (not Church), Power Level 9000
Erik is the Dead Suns Company’s main squeeze technomancer, prolific rules lawyer, and self-diagnosed min-maxer. When he’s not busy re-reading all the rules to catch his Game Master’s mistakes, he is busy building a real-life, functional, not-to-scale, non-replicant of an Adeptus Mechanicus Forge World in his basement. While Warhammer Fantasy is his first love, Warhammer 40K is a close second, and woe be the GM who has him at their table as a member of the Inquisition. If you’re betting against Erik in a battle of facts, you’ll go the way of the Sicilian in a classic battle of wits. So tune-in with your pet giant (hope he isn’t playing a Slayer), a good beer (especially if he’s playing a Slayer), and hear the wisdom of the Omnissiah.

Justin, the Master Wordsmith
Justin is a Co-Founding Member of the Dead Suns Company. A writer, creator, and Game Master across multiple systems, he has a flair for creating memorably fun characters and NPCs across numerous settings and tabletop campaigns. The group’s tabletop ace and jack of all trades, you can always count on him to tilt when he should withdraw. As either a player or a GM, he will make his home in the spaces between the other players and hire a decorator to make it look good. He loves the thrill of connecting visions in collaborative creation. When he’s not trying to “warp” his head around Warhammer lore, you will find him in his soon-to-release narrative Noir Fantasy podcast, with a silky fedora on the rain-soaked streets of New Nantes as that smooth Jazz drifts out from every club.
Mike, Big Boom Daddy
Mike’s excitement for the coming adventure is engorged beyond measure. A long time Warhammer 40K player with a passion for sci-fi and fantasy, he has stockpiled a trademark arsenal of potty humor and is writing an illustrated manual on how to solve puzzles with hilarious innuendo and bodily fluid panache. He is a fiercely loyal party member with a penchant for crude solutions that require so many stitches in your side, you’re glad to have a healer. When he’s not defeating the forces of evil with disparaging remarks about their genitalia, our resident artificer is busy crafting all things rad and awesome in the cave of construction, tower of tinkering, manufactorum of models… the garage. Put on a diaper and prepare to empty your bladder as you tune in on our scourge of the galaxy and scoundrel at large!

Carl, the Raven
Carl may be the newest face at Dead Suns Company, but he has had a spot at our tables since the stars first collided to create this cosmos. A tabletop aficionado and spirit guide to the group, he has a love of high fantasy, whimsical scenes, and bold action. With a keen penchant for developing unique characters, Carl dives deep into the souls of his avatars to thrust story into the forefront of every game. This charisma and passion can sometimes steer our stalwart adventurers to an entirely under-developed region of a world that was discussed at length in his backstory or press us into new and unforeseen situations in the spirit of adventure. When he’s not at the table with Dead Suns Company, he’s endeavoring to hit thousands of hours in Baldur’s Gate 3 without ever finishing the game, tending his druid-worthy garden, or practicing combat sports in between games of fetch with his heckin’ good boy, Sigurd. Make sure to join us to see this character mastermind at work!
